Chef selebriti paling popular di Malaysia iaitu Chef Wan telah berang dan panas hati dengan perkara yang menimpa dirinya di sebuah restaurant  baru-baru ini.

Chef Wan telah dihidangkan dengan masakan Nyonya Laksa berharga RM40 tetapi apa yang dihidangkan bukanlah laksa original sebaliknya satu penipuan telah dibuat.

Kata Chef Wan lagi beliau kecewa dengan sikap chef yang semakin malas dan patut menerima hukuman.

'' I am disappointed with the Mandarin Oriental Nyonya Laksa.Not only its a version off Msia Mee Curry yg terlebih rempah and rasa mcm Makjun but totally the wrong recipe!I call the manager and told him about this.

The hotel can fool other customers but they cannot fool me by giving me that shit! For rm40 a bowl and from the Mandarin Oriental i cannot accept this but they must deliver the right authentic Nyonya Laksa.

I told the Coffeehouse manager for god sake the Chef learn from where this recipe?Has he eaten at all the Nyonya restaurant to understand how the Laksa gravy is made of? Even from my cookbook he can make the best Nyonya Laksa and the least he can do give the customer the right dish.

There alot of lazy chefs out there these days that refused to learned the right thing and simply ruined the reputation if our heritage cusine by delivering their own recipes.

These Chefs deserved to be shot dead! Hukum tembak senang tak menjahanam kan makanan Warisan kita.I shall call the GM tomorrow of the Mandarin and have a word with him.This is so ridiculous! ''
